Behaviour Intervention Program: Gateway Behaviour Services offers 1:1 therapy for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, related disorders, or other behaviour concerns. These sessions can target the reduction of problem behaviours and/or the acquisition of various skills including, but not limited to:

Parent Education and Training: Parent involvement and education is a vital component of every ABA program. From workshops to in-home observation and consultation, we offer a variety of training opportunities to give parents a working knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis and the skills necessary to effectively serve as an interventionist and advocate for their child.
Program Directors are available to meet with families to discuss their child’s progress and any issues they may be having at home, school, or in the community. We will work hand-in-hand with you to ensure you feel supported and have access to necessary resources. |
Social Skills Groups: While social skills are addressed in our 1:1 programs, we also aim special focus at those children and youth who would benefit from observing and interacting with others their own age. Group sessions focus on a variety of skills such as:

School Consultation: As welcomed by the child’s family and daycare, preschool, or school, Gateway Behaviour Services will provide consultation and direct training to administrators, teachers, support staff, and interdisciplinary teams. In an effort to promote student independence and greater opportunities for inclusion, we work collaboratively with these individuals and provide the following services:

Community Outings: Our team may recommend community outings and the frequency at which they should occur when deemed appropriate for your child. Community outings provide opportunities to generalize learned skills and how to apply them in a natural setting. Examples of outings within walking distance of our centre include:
